The Backword
When Allderdice civics teacher Mr Huffer attended the Capitol riot on January 6th, 2021, he knew he was risking it all. But this was a small sacrifice compared to the injustice he was protesting against. “Those woke communist liberals stole the election from Donald Trump, I have to show these radical Antifa terrorists that I’m not going to listen to the media.” Huffer said in an interview with Newsmax, “the only source that’s not a woke sellout.”
However, after beating a police officer to within an inch of his life for blocking the entrance to the Capitol, Huffer was indicted with charges of assault and attempted murder. He pled not guilty on all charges, claiming the officer was infringing on his right to protest and saying, “This is all an attempt for the DEI government to oppress the white man,” but his pleas fell on deaf ears, and he was unfortunately sentenced to life in prison.
It seemed like Huffer’s life was over, but after Donald Trump regained office, it looked like his luck was changing. Trump immediately pardoned everyone who took part in January 6th, Huffer included. While McBigBoy was originally not planning to hire Huffer back, after realizing how understaffed the school was, he immediately changed his mind.
This year, Huffer started what he calls “Project 2025-26,” where he plans to “reverse the woke indoctrination these schools are teaching through critical race theory.” His only regret is not having the rest of the year to teach his new curriculum. But he says that he is making up for lost time with assignments like essays about the harms of DEI programs and an in-depth analysis of Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro videos.
“It feels great that I can show my students real history and not woke virtue signaling,” Huffer said in a recent interview. His actions left many questions about his return, but McBigBoy quickly shut them down, stating, “I’ve never seen someone more excited to have an opportunity to teach. How could I not rehire him?”
